#1 The Role of Systems Thinking and Integrated Regenerative Agriculture

Ironbound Hard Cider founder Charles Rosen and Executive Chef and Farmer Alec Gioseffi will lead a farm tour that delves into the innovative practices of systems thinking and integrated regenerative agriculture. This course will explore how these principles are applied within hospitality operations and food production at Ironbound Farm, showcasing the synergy between sustainable farming and successful business practices. Attendees will gain a comprehensive understanding of how Ironbound Farm leverages these methods to create a resilient and thriving ecosystem.

#2 Strategic Site Development and Water Management: Insights from Ironbound Farm

Johann Rinkens, a renowned farmer, designer, and consultant, will explore the innovative site development at Ironbound Farm & Ciderhouse. This course will delve into the strategic decision-making process behind the initial site design and development, with a focus on agricultural stormwater management. Johann will illustrate how water management infrastructure influences site layout and farm operations, alongside insights on ongoing system feedback and maintenance.
