Regrowth
/How subtle can you get?
Each reaping initiates a new process of growth in a plant, and that growth takes shape in the present context of environment. The soft texture and delicate fragrance of an herb in early May reflects the cool mist of the new spring it was born into. But these late season harvests, rough in texture and intoxicatingly aromatic, reflect the expression of a rebirth forged in the heat of the sun after being cut back several times. Inside a medicine has brewed and stewed in concert with context and environment. A difference in the shape and shade of the regrowth is discernible only to a subtle eye - but atomically a fully new being has emerged in its place.
